Jami Baker– I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for over 13 years, working at Head Start, Day Cares, Even Start, and Strasburg Elementary.  I am a member of First United Methodist and a Co-Director of the Lighthouse Youth Center.   When I am not teaching, I enjoy being creative at home with my 2 children.  You could say Pinterest is my best friend, I’m sort of an addict.  When I became a member at the church 9 years ago, it was a passion of mine to create a preschool.  The process was tedious, but incredibly rewarding.  I am getting to grow in my faith with each child and do what I love at the same time.  My favorite part of teaching is hearing the interactions between the children, hearing them laugh, watching them make new friends, and getting to be a part of that moment when they have learned something new.  As an administrator, I enjoy creating an environment that is safe, fun and a place they can come to grow, learn, and be creative.

Pam Fishley– I love watching our children learn and grow and look forward to seeing their smiles, hearing their stories and watching them build the classroom communities as they  interact with their peers and teachers. We are so blessed by the support our students’ families, and church staff/family have given us and the wonderful facility that has been provided for our school. I returned to caring and teaching children after working with computers and as an administrative assistant at a local firm. My first job was babysitting and I have always enjoyed watching children explore, and listening to what they have to say. I attended Kent-Tusc to earn my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. This helped to ease the changes in my life as my own children headed to college and my husband and I faced an “empty nest.”  I live in the Dover area with my husband, Doug and MY dog, Cookie and acquired cat, Doyle. My favorite things to do are traveling, eating, cooking, gardening, hanging out with friends and families, and visiting, whenever possible, with our children who live near Cleveland and Charleston, SC.

Jessica Halter– I have been in early childhood education for the past 12 years working at daycares, Head Start, and Claymont Primary. I am a graduate of Bowling Green State University receiving my bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies with a background in early childhood education. My teaching philosophy is that children learn best when they are enjoying what they are doing. I work diligently to make learning fun. Every day is an adventure in the classroom! When I am not at work, I love spending time with my son, husband, and two dogs. I enjoy cooking, reading, and films.

Alexis Miller– It has been a pleasure interacting with the children and watching them learn. I am currently attending Kent State University at Tuscarawas working towards my associate’s degree in early childhood education. Since I was a child, I’ve always known that I wanted to become a teacher. I love watching children learn, grow, and succeed. I currently also work at the Tuscarawas YMCA and have been a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters. My favorite things to do are paint, craft, and most of all spend time with my two year old niece. I reside in New Philadelphia where I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, Ian, as well as my family and friends!

Sue Wottle–  I am excited to be a part of the Creative Fish Family. I am originally from Canton and my husband, Eric and I have lived in New Philadelphia for 31 years. We are blessed with three great children and two awesome grandsons. I studied early childhood education at Malone University in Canton. We belong to NewPointe Community Church and in my spare time, I enjoy reading, searching out vintage/upcycled items, and traveling—the beach is my favorite recharge spot! The scripture that guides me daily is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
